Absolutely beautiful antique chest of drawers / entryway commode with incredible craftsmanship. This statement piece features a striking diagonal chevron/herringbone wood veneer pattern on the upper drawers and deeply textured scalloped burl wood panels along the bottom.Accented with delicate contrast line inlays, ornate brass-finish drop pull handles, and elegantly turned legs. Excellent storage with deep drawers. Very solid, heavy, and well-made.
The tiger maple dresser top in your image is a perfect, classic example of chatoyance in furniture. The wavy, undulating grain pattern catches light dynamically, giving the completely flat wood surface a deep, moving, fluid appearance.
The bottom section features an incredible burl wood facade with deep, organic swirling grain patterns and a uniquely sculpted apron edge.
This is an incredibly versatile piece. It works beautifully as an upscale entryway console, a sophisticated media server under a mounted TV, or a luxury accent piece in a primary bedroom.
