Monumental Art Deco display cabinet with mirrored back and reverse-painted figural glass.
Built to impress, this full-height cabinet combines rich, bookmatched veneer with machine-age accents to create a bold, symmetrical form. The central vitrine is fronted by curved-edge glass panels, each adorned with reverse-painted portraits-stylized in the Art Deco fashion of the day-flanking adjustable glass shelving and a mirrored rear wall. Below, four drawers with chrome pulls sit above sliding panel doors, revealing ample storage. Originally used in a retail or bar setting, the cabinet's scale and graphic presence would have commanded attention in any commercial interior. A rugged survivor of interwar design, where style met structure and display was an art form in itself.
