Original restored Biedermeier 4-drawer antique chest of drawers. Dimensions: Height x Width x Depth 104 x 128 x 46 cm.
Restored Biedermeier 4-drawer chest of drawers with a spruce wood frame and walnut veneer, crafted with exceptional beauty, elegance, and practicality. The walnut front, extending across all four drawers, is particularly striking and distinctive. The side panels are also very attractive. This chest of drawers was recently restored, hand-polished with shellac, and finished with a shellac coating. During the restoration, the chest was completely disassembled, refurbished, and its depth was reduced. The chest is clean, sturdy, and in fantastic condition. The drawers open and close smoothly and can be locked with a single key. The interior of the chest has a pleasant fragrance. This is a beautiful original piece, a unique item from the Biedermeier period, circa 1840!
