Rowac
Robert Wagner’s founded his company in 1888 in Chemnitz, better known as Rowac. His products stood for functional excellence, and were designed to provide the highest quality of healthy seating. Robert Wagner’s designs were so much respected by the founder of the Bauhaus movement Walter Grophius, that he had all Bauhaus workshops equipped with Rowac furniture.
Condition Report
The seat has been cleaned and given several coats of varnish, some patina to the frame along with some historical repairs to the base in places. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
