A superb Bohemian art glass vase attributed to the Železný Brod — Eisenbrot production, a remarkable example of 20th-century Czech organic glass, produced in the renowned workshops active between the 1950s and 1970s.
Made of blown glass, this vase captivates with its free and fluid silhouette, typical of modernist creations developed in Bohemian workshops. Its design evokes a form in motion, almost liquid, with an asymmetrical opening that accentuates its sculptural character and uniqueness.
The interlayered decoration in shades of turquoise and deep blue creates a fascinating interplay of transparency and layering. Light passes through the material and reveals the full chromatic depth of the glass, in a style reminiscent of the great productions of Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), an iconic manufacturer in the region, renowned for its organic and experimental vases.
with its free-flowing aesthetic and textural effects, this piece follows in the footsteps of designers such as Miloslav Klinger and František Zemek, known for their organic forms and explorations of hot-blown colored glass. Both decorative and sculptural, this vase is a striking example of Central European glass design, ideal for a contemporary, modernist, or collector's interior.
Excellent condition, no chips or major scratches. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
