Crafted from iridescent blown glass, this vase features an elegant, flattened shape with a bulbous body, topped by an asymmetrical flared neck with exceptionally fluid lines. The subtly bubbled decoration, seamlessly integrated into the glass, reveals a captivating gradient of deep purple, smoky blue, and amber yellow, creating a remarkable chromatic depth.
The glossy, iridescent surface accentuates the chromatic depth of the glass and reveals the richness of the fusing and coloring techniques, a signature of Adam Jablonski's creations. This vase bears his signature on the base, as well as the original manufacturer's label, attesting to its authenticity.
A Polish master glassmaker and glass engineer born in 1936, Adam Jablonski is internationally renowned for his innovations in the field of iridescent blown glass. Trained in the great glassmaking tradition of Central Europe, he has developed a unique formal language, combining technical rigor with artistic sensitivity.
Each piece produced in his Wólka Kosowska workshop was mouth-blown and entirely handcrafted, resulting in unique works or pieces produced in very small series. The iridescent bubble decoration technique, which he perfected, creates these spectacular chromatic depth effects.
with its sculptural silhouette and remarkable textural effects, this piece belongs to the great tradition of Central European art glass, bridging modernist design and luminous sculpture.
