An impressive early-to-mid-20th-century-style bronze and stone desk accessory, featuring two detailed cast-bronze big cats in opposing poses. One feline is modeled in a low stalking or crouching posture, while the other stands alert with an open mouth. The expressive animal sculpture is mounted on a polished black marble or onyx slab base with dramatic gold and white veining, possibly Nero Portoro marble.
