TAn original vintage mid-century wood engraving depicting a Continental Army artillery soldier resting his foot on a cannon wheel. Features incredible hand-carved relief detail, parallel burin work, and fine cross-hatching. Signed in script beneath the image (reads Dan Browne / Dave Browne).
Professionally custom matted with an inner accent bevel and framed under glass in a champagne-silver wood frame. Retains the original gallery framer's sticker from "The Atelier San Francisco" on the reverse.
