A striking vintage Murano art glass vase from Venini’s celebrated “Forati” series, designed by renowned Italian artist Fulvio Bianconi in the early 1950s.
This sculptural vase features a tall cylindrical silhouette in warm amber-brown glass with a clear outer layer and a distinctive oval opening through the body. Its architectural form, substantial weight, rich coloration, and subtle handmade variations make it an exceptional example of Italian Mid-Century Modern glass design.
The vase bears the period three-line acid-etched signature:
