Decorate your space with this magnificent and heavy matching pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel ginger jars (General's jars / Jiangjun Guan). Crafted on solid copper bodies with intricate hand-wired filigree, they feature vibrant, highly detailed hand-painted enamels.

Set against a stunning pale sky-blue ground decorated with swirling clouds, the jars feature a beautifully rendered scene of colorful roosters standing on scholar's rocks, surrounded by bright blooming flowers and scrolling vines. In Chinese culture, the rooster symbolizes good luck, prosperity, and punctuality (a "Great Auspiciousness" motif). The neck and base are bordered with classical floral and geometric patterns. The domed lids feature bronze pointed finials and matching floral designs, finished with polished bronze rims and bases.
