The silhouette is instantly iconic: a generous, swollen barrel or amphora form, articulated by four bold, applied ribbed bands that wrap the body, echoing the iron hoops of a vintage wine barrel. The form is substantial, sculptural, and organic - designed to command attention whether flanking a grand entry, anchoring a terrace, or as an interior statement.

What makes this pair exceptional is the finish, . Each planter is coated in a dry, chalky, limewashed patina in tones of creamy bone, soft putty, and weathered greige, with underlying warm terracotta peeking through where the finish has naturally distressed, chipped, and mottled over decades of exposure. The surface is a masterpiece of wabi-sabi texture - speckled, mottled, and subtly encrusted with age, as seen in your macro details. No two sides are the same. The interior remains in the raw, warm terracotta bisque, visible in your top-down shots, ready for planting or for use as dry decorative vessels.

Perfectly imperfect and deeply atmospheric, they embody the Belgian, French Country, and Tuscan farmhouse aesthetic coveted by top designers. Use them as large-scale planters for olive trees, ferns, or topiaries, as entry urns, or as sculptural objects in their own right. See less
