Produced by the renowned George Wade Pottery (Wade Ceramics) in England during the mid-20th century, this charming fireside dog is modeled directly after the iconic 19th-century Victorian originals.
The figurine features a classic white body decorated with rich, hand-painted rust-red patches, striking yellow eyes, a black muzzle, and a delicately gilded collar, padlock, and chain. The hollow base retains its original red Wade England maker's mark stamp and features the characteristic small slip-casting vent hole.
