The vases feature a distinctive faceted, waisted form with flared polygonal rims and traditional hand-painted cobalt-blue floral decoration on a white glazed ceramic body. Large stylized flowers, leaves and small decorative motifs create the classic blue-and-white appearance associated with historic Dutch Delftware.

Both vases are marked underneath with a crown emblem together with the inscriptions “Delft,” “Made in Holland” and “Hand Decorated.” The subtle differences in brushwork underline their handcrafted character and make each vase individually unique.
