The gently distressed surface gives the entire set a wonderfully aged and sophisticated appearance.The round table has a particularly attractive cane/rattan inset top protected by a circular glass top. Its four curved legs and bamboo-inspired detailing echo the design of the chairs perfectly.The chairs are beautifully executed with woven cane backs, bamboo-style frames and decorative latticework. The two armchairs feature striking geometric openwork sides, while all four chairs retain their original 1980s patterned upholstery in warm muted shades of terracotta, olive green, ochre, brown and blue. Decorative nailhead trim finishes the seats.A wonderful complete ensemble combining Hollywood Regency, Chinoiserie and faux-bamboo design, with the relaxed elegance often associated with Palm Beach and Mediterranean interiors.The original finish and upholstery give this set enormous character.
