exquisite artistic ceramic liqueur or wine set, entirely hand-sculpted and decorated in relief, consisting of a jug and six matching mugs, made by the "la colonnata" factory in sesto fiorentino. Signed under the base of the glasses "s.c. Colonnata sesto f.no" in green, while the jug bears the catalog number "t08" or "108" under the glaze. The set, dating from the late 1920s to the early 1930s, expresses a refined reinterpretation of rustic and folkloristic tuscan taste, reinterpreted through the structured geometries of art deco. All the elements of the set are fashioned in the shape of small barrels and hooped barrels, embellished with refined freehand details: the handles feature a twisted design that mimics orange hemp rope, while a second, high-relief white ceramic cord wraps around the containers, securing them on the front with a faux sailor's knot. The glaze application highlights a superb glossy finish with a sponged or dotted effect in bright orange and ochre tones, while the decorative ropes maintain a textured, glossy white contrast.
