Pair of lacquered teak bedside tables with original manufacturer's label. Made by AB Carlström & Co Möbelfabrik, Sweden, 1950s/1960s.
Made in Sweden by AB Carlström & Co Möbelfabrik between the 1950s and 1960s, these bedside tables feature a simple structure built around an upper drawer and a suspended lower shelf. The two side panels extend beyond the top, forming a continuous element that defines the profile of the piece, while the slightly angled cylindrical legs lighten the structure. The drawer retains the traditional dovetail joint construction, a sign of meticulous craftsmanship, while the original manufacturer's label is still present inside. Originally made of teak, they now feature a white lacquer finish that gives the bedside tables a more minimalist and contemporary feel, enhancing their balanced proportions and clean lines.
