This charming vintage picture frame has a padded plywood structure, frontally covered with a coated fabric, possibly chintz, designed to reproduce the luminous, iridescent appearance of mother-of-pearl. The four corners are embellished with slender strips of copper sheet, carefully preserved in their original aged patina, creating an elegant contrast with the pearlescent surface. The frame opens from the back with a small sliding plywood panel, allowing the photograph to be easily inserted and removed. The frame is in good original vintage condition, showing only minimal signs of age and use consistent with its history.
