A wonderful antique Regency period marble top side table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1815-1830 period.
It is of very fine quality and is a lovely size. The frame has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, it is nicely finished on all sides so can be used as a free standing item. The single drawer has nicely turned handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. There is beading around the entire lower edge, this stands on beautifully turned and fluted legs, terminating in brass casters.
We have had this stripped and re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age. There is just some light surface wear to the marble and one small chip on a corner, that can be placed at the back as the marble lifts off and can be turned either way.
