Charles X Collection Commode Chest by Henredon. Crafted in a classic 19th-century French Neoclassical silhouette, this piece features gorgeous, highly figure-grained burl veneer with a warm, rich patina.
It is crowned with a thick, beautifully variegated grey and brown breccia marble top featuring a rounded edge profile. Below, a top frieze drawer conceals additional storage above three deep drawers adorned with ornate brass bail handles and escutcheons. The piece rests on a bold, molded ogee plinth base. Stamped with the maker's signature inside the top drawer, this quality-crafted commode makes a striking addition as a bedroom chest, foyer console, or living room accent.
