The mirror features a shapely beveled glass plate surrounded by an elaborate Rococo Revival-style frame with scrolling foliate ornament, pierced/openwork detailing and a beautifully aged gilt-bronze finish. The richly modeled frame has developed a deep, warm patina that gives the piece wonderful old-world character.

At approximately 22 inches high, this is a particularly versatile decorative mirror—beautiful in a powder room, entryway, bedroom, dressing area, gallery wall, or above a small chest or console.

The original beveled mirror glass shows age-related spotting and silvering consistent with its age. The decorative frame also shows expected age and wear, including areas of finish loss, surface cracking and small losses to the molded decoration. These imperfections have been left intact as part of the mirror’s antique character and patina. Please review photographs closely for condition.
