Sotheby's New York, catalogue from November 1990. Profusely illustrated throughout, mostly in colour. In a very good dust jacket with a glossy orange slipcase. Hardback catalogue for a sale 6098 - items from the Greta Garbo collection held by Sotheby's Auctioneers in New York on the 15th of November 1990 features fine furniture, ceramics, paintings and other items. The first lots in the catalogue are Impressionist and Modern Paintings - the sale of which was held on Tuesday November 13th and this included three Renoir's, a Bonnard and a collection of Jewlensky's. Cecile de Rothschild described Garbo's cpollection as "truly exceptional". See less
