Jean Dibble (b. 1953) is an American printmaker, painter, and Professor Emerita of Studio Art at the University of Notre Dame. She earned a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin (1979), an M.A. from the University of New Mexico (1981), and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin (1988). Dibble joined the faculty at Notre Dame in 1989, leading a distinguished 35-year academic teaching career before founding the Jean Dibble Portrait Studio in Burlington, Wisconsin, in 2020. She is also a co-founder of the Mid America Print Council (MAPC), an organization dedicated to fostering the printmaking discipline. Exhibiting in the United States and internationally since 1978, her work has been featured in over 225 exhibitions and is included in public collections worldwide. See less
