Bring authentic 1960s American craftsmanship into your home with this vintage pedestal bunching table by Drexel Heritage. Masterfully constructed, the tabletop features a striking, book-matched parquetry walnut veneer layout that creates a gorgeous geometric starburst pattern. The square tabletop rests upon an elegant, turned baluster pedestal spindle. This central column is anchored firmly by a heavy square plinth base accented with detailed corner block rosettes. Given its compact footprint and low 17-inch height, this highly versatile piece functions beautifully as a traditional end table, an accent table between a pair of chairs, or a low-profile plant stand for a Mid-Century Modern, Neoclassical, or transitional interior.

Condition Details: The table is structurally stable, perfectly balanced, and displays a gorgeous original warm wood finish with light surface wear consistent with age. There is a historic, vertical hairline split running along the grain of the turned central pedestal column (as pictured in the detailed photos). This split has been professionally glued, clamped, and stabilized. The seam does not affect the balance or structural integrity of the piece, blends naturally into the rich wood grain, and is only noticeable upon close visual inspection.
