Finished with a naturally aged dark patina and a traditional hollowed underside, the piece integrates seamlessly into a layered library, estate mantel, or formal entryway. With its low profile and substantial 14.5-pound weight, it functions equally well as a focal centerpiece or an architectural doorstop.

Condition Report:
Excellent vintage condition with no structural breaks, cracks, or repairs across the tail, snout, or paws. The heavy, hollow-cast iron base is solid and stable. The original dark finish displays an authentic, gentle patina with minor, stabilized oxidation consistent with vintage hearthside use. Carefully cleaned and hand-sealed in-house with microcrystalline wax to enhance depth, protect the iron, and prevent active rust.
