Striking set of six Mid-Century Modern “Contempora” dining chairs designed by William Clingman for J. L. Metz. Distinguished by their sculptural burl wood backs, these chairs showcase the rich grain, organic movement, and natural variation that make burl wood especially desirable.
The elegant, streamlined silhouettes balance beautifully with the expressive burl backs, creating a sophisticated contrast between refined Mid-Century design and the warmth of natural wood. Designed for both comfort and visual impact, the set makes a statement around a dining table while also complementing a range of modern, contemporary, and eclectic interiors.
