An exceptional English traveling or ship's desk, an original from the 19th century. Made of wood, with its characteristic reddish hue, with gilt brass fittings and ornaments. It features a plaque engraved with the initials L.C.

When opened, the green cloth writing surface unfolds. Somewhat worn, consistent with its age and use. This surface lifts up, revealing a space for paper and envelopes. It has several compartments for pens, ink, and writing accessories. When closed, it forms a small, easily transportable, and decorative rectangular box, with a handle on each side.
