This gorgeous Cake Saver is made of aluminum. This fantastic lidded cake carrier was made in the USA by Mirro is marked as such on the bottom of the tray, see pictures. This fabulous piece presents true Mid Century style from the 1950s with a wood handle atop the lid, a classic mix of copper and silver toned coloring to the metal, and an overall timeless design for transporting cakes or serving to guests at home while keeping your dessert fresh. The lid is secured with a latch which can be easily opened or closed.
