Heavy enough for practical use, this impressive piece is more than capable of holding a door securely open.

The cat is deeply cast with wonderful detail throughout, including the textured pattern of its fur, expressive facial features, paws, tail, toes, and the decorative front of the base. The cat wears a collar with traces of its original red paint, while additional remnants of red can be seen on the nose. There are also traces of white paint remaining on the pupils, toes, whiskers, and front of the figure, suggesting the cat may originally have had a white breast and white whiskers.

The original painted surface has naturally aged over time, leaving an appealing vintage patina and scattered remnants of the original colors. The back is unfinished, and there are no visible maker's marks or labels.

MEASUREMENTS
10 in (25.4 cm) wide x 4 in (10.2 cm) deep x 8 in (20.3 cm) tall. Weighs 5 lbs. 5.3 oz.

CONDITION
The cat has no breaks, cracks, dents or repairs. The paint shows wear and has spots of discoloration from age use and rust. Most of the rust is along the base and on the back. There are also a few tiny spots of white paint on the cat’s chest and near her collar.
