A classic 1940s piece featuring a distinct fan shape adorned with an embossed motif of grape clusters and large leaves. The vase is finished in a beautiful seafoam green glaze with brown wipe accents that highlight the intricate, textured details of the mold.
The thick glaze feels soft and smooth to the touch. The base is unglazed. It has no marks or labels.
MEASUREMENTS
6 in (15.2 cm) long x 2 ½ in (6.4 cm) wide x 7 ¾ in (19.7 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 8.2 oz.
CONDITION
There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. It has a tiny brown spot at the inside near the mouth, that is likely a smear from the brown glaze used outside. The glazes are in great condition without crazing. There is some dirt and other deposits along the bottom inside.
It makes an excellent addition to any collection of mid-century American art pottery or a charming accent piece for rustic, farmhouse, or eclectic home décor.
