Beautiful large authentic vintage 4 panel Asian folding silk screen. Gold silk trim, blue silk background, hand painted white floral motif with birds. Ornate brass hardware. Handmade circa 1950s in Japan during the Showa era.
A stunning piece that would be the focal point of any room. The silk border shines beautiful shades of reflective gold depending on the lighting and angle. Hand-painted bird and floral scenery is in near perfect condition with no cosmetic defects. Ornate brass hardware decorates the wood frame at sides and corners. Hinges are sturdy. Lays perfectly flat and aligned when unfolded.
