Description:
Presenting a magnificent and incredibly detailed Chinese gilt bronze covered jar (General's jar / Ginger jar), crafted in the opulent style of the Qing Dynasty Imperial Court.

The entire surface is masterfully executed in high-relief repoussé and chasing (錾刻) techniques. It features a complex, swirling design of dragons chasing a flaming pearl, surrounded by dense, stylized auspicious clouds and waves. The intricate details of the dragons' scales, claws, and whiskers are wonderfully articulated, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship.

The neck and the base of the domed cover are adorned with vivid red and green cabochon stones (simulating rubies and emeralds), set within twisted wire bezels, which add a regal, jewel-like quality to the piece. The rounded finial on the lid is also finely chased with a cloud motif. The underside bears a deeply cast square seal in archaic seal script, typical of traditional Chinese reverence marks.

Condition: Excellent condition. The gilding is vibrant and intact. The stones are secure and present. No major dents, cracks, or repairs are observed. Minor natural patina and surface wear consistent with age and display. Please refer to all provided photos for full details.
