Decorate your space with this magnificent matching pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel covered jars (general's jars / Jiangjun Guan). Crafted on sturdy copper bodies with intricate hand-wired filigree and vibrant, hand-filled enamel colors, they feature a striking, auspicious traditional design.

The background is a rich, deep royal blue, adorned with continuous swirling ruyi clouds in pastel tones. One jar is prominently decorated with a majestic, multi-colored dragon, while the other features a graceful phoenix, symbolizing "Dragon and Phoenix bringing auspiciousness" (龙凤呈祥). Both are accented with vibrant lotus and peony blooms. The domed lids feature bronze pointed finials and matching floral motifs, finished with bronze rims and bases. The bottom of each jar bears a stamped Chinese character "宣" (Xuan), a traditional reverence mark.

Condition: Excellent condition. The set is very sturdy and heavy (2468g total). The enamel is vibrant with no missing pieces observed. The exposed bronze/copper metal rims, finials, and bases show a natural, even patina and slight oxidation consistent with vintage age. Minor surface wear.
