Two arm … Read more A classic set of six ebonized mahogany dining chairs designed by Tommi Parzinger for Parzinger originals, circa 1950. Two arm chairs and four side chairs included in this set The sculptural frames have been professionally secured and are recently upholstered in crisp white linen with tailored double-welt detailing. The removable tufted back cushions are original to Parzinger’s design, allowing the chairs to be presented fully upholstered or with the architectural Double X-backs exposed.

Unmarked but highly recognizable by their distinct design, Tommi Parzinger "Double X" chairs typically lacked integrated signatures on seating. While Parzinger case goods featured stamps, his chairs relied on paper labels or fabric tags on the undersides that are almost always lost to time or removed during professional reupholstery. A definitive hallmark of original production is the highly distinct, removable tufted cushions that attach to the frame and the high quality ebonized wood.
