An exceptional curation of French Art Deco tableware from the historic 1928 collaboration between artist Suzanne Lalique (daughter of iconic glass master Rene Lalique) and the premier Limoges porcelain manufacturer Theodore Haviland.
This extremely rare collection is executed on Haviland’s innovative, factory tinted ‘pate celadon’ blank, featuring a serene pale jade green-grey glaze that serves as the perfect minimalist backdrop for Suzanne Lalique’s stylized, monochromatic Paquerettes (daisy) motifs.
Each piece is an authentic period original boasting the coveted dual back stamps of the Theodore Haviland Limoges factory mark alongside the authentic Decor de Suzanne Lalique signature stamp. Also present is the Celadon back stamp.
The 12-piece curated set includes:
- Coffee pot with
- lid;
- Sugar bowl with
- lid;
- Gravy boat with attached under plate;
- Oval handled serving platter;
- 3 Butter pats;
- 3 Bread and butter plates.
All are in excellent vintage condition and present no chips, no cracks, no hairline fractures (with the exception of a tiny chip on the inside of the lid of the coffee pot). The centers and rims are smooth and well-preserved.
