Pole is in excellent condition with bright paint and the original acorn shaped top. Stand was made later (dated and initialed 1976 by the woodworker) so the pole would be freestanding. A good sturdy stand for a tall pole. A wonderful piece of American folk art and a perfect addition to any room. Pole stands upright by itself. Pole and stand are wood and item is heavy. See less
