Striking 1958 abstract bronze sculpture by Greek-American/New York artist George Koras (1925–2015). This expressive figural work depicts an elongated female form rendered with dramatic, organic contours and richly modeled surfaces. The bronze displays a beautiful dark brown and green patina that accentuates the sculptural texture and movement of the figure. Mounted on a rectangular black-painted wood base. Signed and dated on the bronze.
