The compact six-inch form combines a broad basket body with an integral arching handle, creating a highly sculptural presentation despite its relatively small scale.

The clear crystal is extensively worked with hobstars, starbursts, crosshatched diamonds, radial fans, geometric panels and fine secondary cuts. The surface is almost completely decorated, including the integral handle, which is cut with the same level of intricacy rather than being left plain.
