A powerful, large-scale abstraction that blurs the boundaries between landscape and emotion. Layers of oil paint build a dynamic field of shifting clouds, muted earth tones, and sudden bursts of color - coral, blue, and white suggesting geological movement and weathered memory.
From the estate of Egizio Panetti, New York gallerist and collector, whose project space was known for exhibiting cutting-edge contemporary abstraction. The provenance situates this piece within the context of New York’s dynamic late 20th-century art scene.
