An exceptional and highly collectible vintage postmodern multidirectional floor lamp designed by Hannes Wettstein for Belux, circa 1980s. This striking piece features an adjustable black enameled steel rod structure bent into an architectural, geometric "N" form, offering a minimalist footprint paired with a bold sculptural presence.The pivoting, textured black metal lamp head features distinctive integrated cooling fins, a graphic white accent line, and a top-mounted push-button switch. Unlike hot halogen fixtures of the era, the interior features an incandescent medium-base socket designed for standard light bulbs (or modern LEDs). The lamp stands securely on its heavy, original cast iron base featuring a decorative cross-hatch pattern. A brilliant example of 1980s high-tech Swiss design that anchors any Postmodern, Space Age, or Minimalist interior.
Lower stem is approximately 43" tall and there are two 20" adjustable arms. Fully extended, it is about 84"tall. Head is 6-1/4" x 4"x5"
