The composition portrays traditionally dressed figures gathered with children in the foreground, with architectural and equestrian details creating a richly layered Spanish scene.

Titled “Andalusia” beneath the central image, the work combines a finely rendered engraved composition with areas of soft hand-applied color in blue, yellow, red, green and muted earth tones. Additional monochromatic vignettes surrounding the principal image add wonderful visual detail.
