Titled, "Tree House ~ Looking Up". An unfinished tree house at the height of summer evoking adventure. The "Looking Up" part is literal, but also hints at a positive attitude. Everyone has unfinished projects at home, bringing excitement and great potential. If we're lucky, this carries through to completion. This is professional artist grade acrylic on 2 primed and gessoed hollow core wood door panels. Each panel is 80" high by 30" wide by about 1.5" deep. Overall, its 80" high by 60" wide. It hangs on the wall using a simple wood French cleat system. One of the photos shows the panels a few inches apart from each other to get an idea of the size of each panel. Please look at the detail photos. This painting is quite large and can be misinterpreted as having more of a polished, detailed finish when viewed from a computer or phone. It is far from photo-realism, there are intentional drips, brush marks, and painterly qualities in this piece.
If you are seriously interested in buying this painting, more photos can be provided to you, or if you are close enough, a studio visit can be arranged. The artist can personally hand-deliver the painting for the cost of a rental van and related expenses if you are within a day's round trip of the artist's home. Farther distances may be able to be handled the same way. This could reduce shipping charges.
