The body is … Read more A rustic Chinese Cizhou kiln ceramic vase featuring classic hand-painted iron-black slip decoration over a creamy glaze. The body is decorated with an expressive folk-art bird amidst floral branches, framed by a traditional geometric key fret pattern at the neck. An excellent shelf styling piece for Wabi-Sabi, Chinoiserie, or eclectic transitional spaces.

Condition Notes: Vintage/Antique condition with visible wear that highlights its historic character. Features a stable hairline crack running from the top rim down into the inner neck (visible in top-down view). The unglazed stoneware base shows authentic aging, soot/dirt staining, and minor edge roughness. The body displays classic glaze skips, minor pitting, and light surface scuffs from age.
