This plate was hand painted and there is a tiny pink paint dot and a tiny pink brush stroke on the back of the plate. These are in the glaze and were there in the process of the plate being hand painted before being glazed and fired in the kiln. These marks are barely noticeable on the back and are part of the plate and its characteristic from being hand painted. less
