Fantastic blend of colors, from olive and forest green with soft yellows and cremes to strong orange, red, purple and blue.

Is it a sunrise or a sunset? Either way, it's magnificent!

Significant highly detailed frame - very well constructed.

This was a "wow" moment for us. We remember where we were the first time we saw this painting - it's scale, it's almost modernist use of color in a traditional landscape, and the unusual point of view it presents were all show stopping for us.

For the last several years it has hung at the top of a stairwell in one of our cottages with a gallery light above it, as the view you see when you turn upward toward the guest rooms. That perspective makes it even more dramatic, and the colors and scale explode off the canvas.
