This beautifully made brass lamp, from the 1960 s is fully adjustable in height and rotation of the arm. The simplicity of adjusting the height by using a sliding ball with a locking is wonderfully executed. The arm can rotate 360 degrees without any interference from the locking. On the bottom of the base, the lamp is supported with tiny brass balls, providing an elegant solution for supporting the lamp. The original shade has been kept while the electric wiring has been replaced with a new textile covered cable. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
