Very beautiful artwork representing a genre scene setted in an ancient inn. In the center of the composition there is a woman with a bottle and, in front of her, a table with some men. We can see only the faces and the headgears ans the chairs. This work has been realized by the French artist Jean Albert Grand-Carteret (Paris, 1903 - 1954). Image dimensions: 19 x 15 cm. He is the grandson of John Grand-Carteret. Painter of nudes, portraits and especially remarkable pastellist, Grand-Carteret was pupil of Adler and Lucien Simon. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists and at the Salon des Independents, Paris. This artwork is shipped from Italy. Under existing legislation, any artwork in Italy created over 70 years ago by an artist who has died requires a licence for export regardless of the work’s market price. - Chairish Freight Delivery
