Passepartout … Read more The Inn is an original artwork realized by Jean Albert Grand-Carteret in the XX Century. China Ink on paper. Passepartout included (cm 27 x 23). Mint conditions. Very beautiful artwork representing a genre scene setted in an ancient inn. In the center of the composition there is a woman with a bottle and, in front of her, a table with some men. We can see only the faces and the headgears ans the chairs. This work has been realized by the French artist Jean Albert Grand-Carteret (Paris, 1903 - 1954). Image dimensions: 19 x 15 cm. He is the grandson of John Grand-Carteret. Painter of nudes, portraits and especially remarkable pastellist, Grand-Carteret was pupil of Adler and Lucien Simon. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists and at the Salon des Independents, Paris. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
