This distinctive mid-century mirror adapts the grand eagle-crested looking glasses associated with early American Federal interiors. A dimensional eagle, open scrollwork, beaded border and warm copper-bronze highlights give it the presence of a much larger architectural accent.

HISTORY
Federal-period girandole mirrors were frequently crowned with eagle finials, a symbol associated with strength and the newly formed United States. This circa-1959 interpretation translated that historic American form into lightweight, dimensional décor for the mid-century home.
STYLING
Use this eagle mirror as a sculptural focal point above a narrow console, bar cabinet or writing desk. Its black and copper finish works especially well with dark wood, aged brass, equestrian artwork, traditional libraries, collected gallery walls and updated Americana interiors.
The mirror is decorative in scale and especially well suited to an entryway, office, powder room, dining room or layered mirror wall.
Only the mirror shown is included. Decorative accessories are not included.
