Large framed print by American artist Amado Maurilio Peña Jr., featuring a solitary Indigenous figure set against a layered Southwestern landscape rendered in violet, mauve, and earth tones.
Peña’s highly recognizable visual language combines elongated figurative forms, geometric architecture, and broad areas of negative space. The restrained composition gives the work a distinctly modern quality while remaining rooted in Southwestern subject matter.
Hand-signed in pencil by the artist.
Presented under glass with neutral matting and a wood frame.
