A beautiful matching pair of vintage Roseville Pottery Clematis cornucopia vases, shape 193-6”, dating to the 1940s.
These sculptural American art pottery vases feature Roseville’s Clematis floral decoration in the desirable blue colorway, with large dimensional cream blossoms, soft yellow centers, molded green foliage, and beautifully shaded blue-green grounds.
The unusual cornucopia forms feature dramatic fan-shaped bodies, large curled scrolls, angular handles, and rectangular bases. The complementary forms create an especially attractive symmetrical presentation when displayed together.

The Clematis line was introduced by Roseville during the 1940s and is admired for its dimensional floral decoration and softly blended glazes.
