A striking vintage African brass figural table lamp featuring a graceful standing female figure balancing a bowl-form socket cup on her head. The sculptural brass body has a warm, time-softened patina and expressive hand-worked character, making this an exceptional statement lighting piece for a collected, globally inspired interior.
Begun life as a decorative ashtray or smoking stand, this piece has been thoughtfully and professionally converted into a fully functional lamp. It has been completely rewired with all-new electrical components and is fitted with a newly replaced frosted oval glass globe, which gives the figure a wonderful sculptural silhouette and soft, diffused illumination.
